Laporte - Lory - Pineridge

This route 100% shows off the exceptional and varied terrain we can access from our doorstep in Fort Collins. Scoot on out to Lory State Park via Laporte for some very straightforward and scenic single track. Then climb your way out of there over Marina Climb and down Harmony Hill before a little detour through Pineridge’s crushed trail before heading back into town.

Starting in 2023, Colorado vehicle registration included a state park pass option. If you don’t have a state park pass, you can purchase a single day bike pass ($4) here.

This route is a part of the 2024 FoCo Fondo Training Series (May Route- Shorter option).

• Paved: 40%

• Climbing: 1700 feet

Notes: You need a park pass to enter Lory State Park. They offer daily bike passes online if you ride in or annual passes. Starting in 2023, vehicle registration included a state park pass option which would cover you riding in.

Refills: Yes. There are a few rest stop areas with water in Lory.

Tires: You’ll have more confidence on the single track going bigger for this route…like a 42 WTB Resolute. ENVE G23s will also make this wicked fun.
